Older Adult Services

Resource Advocacy

Resource Advocates assist older adults with Medicare, Medicaid, and SNAP benefit applications. Advocates provide information on OLHSA's comprehensive services and connect older adults to community programs outside of OLHSA.

Grandparents Raising Grandchildren (GRG)

The GRG program provides free services to grandparents living in the same home as related children in kinship care in Oakland, Livingston, and Macomb Counties. Program includes workshops, support groups, home visits, and intergenerational activities. Review the GRG flyer.

Senior Chore Program

Senior Chore Services play a vital role in supporting older adults in our community. They make a meaningful difference by providing essential help to seniors in need, reducing financial strain for those with limited income, and supporting their ability to age in place. By assisting with important household and yard tasks, these services also promote safety and well-being, ensuring hazardous chores are completed properly and without risk to the senior.
