New appointment scheduler takes effect July 5 Posted: July 01, 2016 Updated: July 01, 2016

For Welcome Center services, make your appointment through custom software and enjoy the perks

Starting on July 5, OLHSA will be scheduling appointments for Welcome Center Services, which include Emergency Utility Assistance, Weatherization & General Information/Referrals, through a special phone number or website. In Oakland County, call (248) 479-6516 and in Livingston County call (517) 292-2969. Or, visit from anywhere.

Why the change?

How we serve you is important to us. With a high volume of appointments for Welcome Center services (2,000 per month!), we can now be more efficient in scheduling and serve you better.

What can I expect?

A quick and easy experience if you call or book online. Either way, your appointment will be scheduled in your neighborhood (one of ten OLHSA locations) for a time convenient for you.

What if I come in to schedule?

You can still use the new service. A computer and a phone will be available to those who walk in to an OLHSA location to schedule an appointment for Welcome Center services.

What are the perks?

  • Fast scheduling
  • Easy to change and modify appointments
  • Reminders via phone/text or email
  • English, Spanish, Hmong and Arabic language options both on the phone and online

What if I need to schedule a non-Welcome Center appointment?

Call 248-209-2600 to schedule an appointment for any non-Welcome Center service.

We look forward to hearing from you soon!
