Faith in Action of Oakland County volunteers help older adults with fall cleanup Posted: December 08, 2014

OLHSA is grateful to the volunteers of Faith in Action of Oakland County for providing fall cleanup to our older adult clients during its Great Rake event. The National Honor Society of St. Mary’s Preparatory, an all-boys school in Orchard Lake, was one of many groups that raked and bagged leaves for our older adults.

OLHSA’s older adult clients were fortunate to have had Faith in Action volunteers complete this work and provide a little piece of mind as winter approaches. Commerce Township, West Bloomfield and Keego Harbor are just a few of the locations where groups went to help those in need of yard cleanup. Faith in Action is always looking for volunteers to help neighbors-in-need keep their independence.
