OLHSA receives awards from Michigan Community Action Agency Association Posted: May 20, 2014 Updated: May 20, 2014

On April 30, the eve of Community Action Month, OLHSA staff attended MCAAA’s 50th Anniversary dinner and award ceremony in Lansing. OLHSA was proud to have four staff members, Sherry Bouler, Robert Crotty, Donna Parsons and Dayna Swindell, recognized for completing the MCAAA Leadership Development Institute, an 18-month professional development collaborative designed to enhance and develop the core competencies of future Community Action Leaders.

Alessandra Baglioni received a Community Action Award for her dedication to volunteering for OLHSA. Alessandra began volunteering in 2011 and has contributed close to 500 hours of her time volunteering in OLHSA’s older adult services department. Rickey Brown was nominated for a Community Action participant award for his achievements through OLHSA and received an honorable mention. We are so proud of our OLHSA staff, volunteers and clients who continue to contribute to the success of our organization.
