I would like to know if the following costs can be included in the budget for the mini-grant:

1.    Office supplies.

OLHSA’s Response:  Basic office supplies are allowable if purchased and used for grant related activities. All receipts for expenses must be kept and provided to OLHSA quarterly.

2.    Printing equipment (for printing workshop assignments).

OLHSA’s Response:  Basic printing equipment (desk top printer) are allowable if purchased and used for grant related activities. All receipts for expenses must be kept and provided to OLHSA quarterly.

3.    Participant supplies.

OLHSA’s Response:  Participant supplies are allowable if purchased and used for grant related activities. Participant supplies should be fully depleted by the end of the grant period. All receipts for expenses must be kept and provided to OLHSA quarterly.

4.    Stipends as an incentive for participants.

OLHSA’s Response:  This is not an allowable expense.

5.    If we can use some of the funds for securing a lease agreement.

OLHSA’s Response This is not an allowable expense.

Also, I am trying to determine if I must partner with another non-profit organization in order to apply for the grant. Is it optional?

OLHSA’s Response All applications for funding must be a joint application of no less than two non‐profit organizations.
