Level One Bank Informational Meeting about Homeownership Grant Opportunities

Level One Bank is hosting an informational meeting about homeownership grants on May 8th from 1-4 at OLHSA in Pontiac (196 Cesar E. Chavez Avenue, Pontiac). The meeting will be held in the Welcome Center Conference Room.


You may be eligible for up to $10,000 in grant dollars to be used for down payment assistance and/or closing costs. Learn more about eligibility requierments during the session.


Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Support Group Meeting

OLHSA's Grandparents Raising Grandchildren program is having a free, informative support group meeting where you can gather with fellow grandparents who share similar experiences. Various topics will be discussed that can help you help your grandchildren.


When: May 5th from 10 am-12pm

Free Homebuyer's Education Classes

OLHSA is having FREE Homebuyer's Education Classes on April 29th AND April 30th. Both classes will be held from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. at the OLHSA office in Pontiac (196 Cesar E. Chavez, Ave., Welcome Center Conference Room). Learn about credit, budgeting, banking and mortgage approval and closing.


You must attend BOTH sessions to receive a MSHDA certificate.

Spring Check Up Family Health Fair

Join us on April 25th for the Spring Check Up Family Health Fair hosted by Ferndale Schools. There will be free health screenings, entertainment and giveaways. OLHSA will be on site providing information about the services available as far as home weatherization, utility assistance and more for eligible families living in Oakland County. Staff will also be available to answer questions about enrolling your children into OLHSA’s free Head Start programs. We hope to see you there!
